Yes you should, if its really bothering you you should. and who cares if it doesn't grow back for a while? it is more comfortable and when your sexually active, guys-girls prefer shaved than all hairy but you shouldnt really do it unless you want to and if you do then you should shave it because you never know when your going to be asked to have sex!

∙ 11y agoThere is no right or wrong answer. Everybody starts puberty at different ages, no two people are alike.
Some 12 year olds develop pubic hairs while other people develop them later. It's perfectly normal whichever way.

Pubic hair is there for a reason, as well as s sign of sexual maturity and trapping pheromones to attract a partner, it helps to protect your vulva from damage and dirt. Shaving pubic hair risks irritation, cuts, ingrown hairs, infected ingrown hairs, and cysts, also when you are older and start having sex your risk of STD would be slightly higher due to increased skin-to-skin contact during sex.
Shaving pubic hair is a personal choice - the idea that guys prefer pubic hair to be shaved is nonsense, it's also not a reason to change your grooming habits anyway - if you feel more comfortable without pubic hair then shave, but otherwise it's best avoided.
