Bullies should be considered criminals because they make people depressed, suicidal, uncomfortable, feel threathened and afraid.
Another View: There is no such legal classification as a "bully." A bully is a simply a dictionary term that describes someone who takes pleasure in intimidating people weaker than they are. One cannot be criminally charged simply with "bullying" someone. Any action or offense that they (i.e.: the bully) commit MUST fit within the classification of one of any number of criminal offenses in order for them to be charged with committing a criminal offense.

∙ 11y agoYes, they should be treated as criminals because the bullies are pressuring people and pushing the little guy around. They little guy hates being bullied and is afraid to do something about it. The little guy gets tired of someone pushing him around so he kills himself. He commits suicide. Bullies basically torture people and these people get to a point where they are tried of it so they take their own life. Bullies push theses people to the point to commit suicide. Bullies are like killing someone by bullying them. If bullies didn't bully people who commits suicide because of bullies, they will still be alive today.

Having persecuted others, bullies should be given a very fair share of their own medicine. While being prosecuted is not a final or complete answer, it is another tool to help stop, and hopefully rehab bullies. I some times think that only people who are affected by this problem should be allowed to respond. But that could be a subtle form of bullying.

As Much as I want to agree with you, I have to think that the "dose of their own medicine" smacks of petty revenge. ( It should also be noted that many bullies are subjects of bulling themselves, so they already know what their own medicine is like
) Bullies should be punished because bulling is wrong. In a perfect world I would like to force a bully to become his or her victims best friend and protector.
Petty revenge, or not, without action there is no cure. Too often we look for a perfect answer when there isn't one and this leads to NO response at all. Better to try and then allow for modification.
Trying to make a perfect 'letter' of the law, omits the more humanistic "intent" of the law. I agree it is hard and tough and confusing, but moving to action is the one sure way to manifest change.

The rate of bullies in school becoming criminals later in life is low. Many bullies that become adults generally forget that they were ever bullies and forget all about their victims. Some bullying's that were brought up in a poor environment are more likely not to do well in school; may drop out of school; join gangs; may be in trouble with the law and are angry at society in general.
When you don't block bullies what happens?
If you don't block the bullies then they will keep on bullying you so you should block them.
