Yes, illegal immigrants should be deported because they didn't have respect for the country they illegally entered. It is also an affront to any person who took the time and effort to enter legally. Send them back. They should at least have the respect to immigrate the right way.
The illegal immigrants are breaking the "law". They shouldn't be here. Illegal immigrants don't pay taxes and our citizens have difficulties in getting jobs because of the illegal immigrants. It doesn't matter how hard illegal immigrants work or how bad they have it in their own country, or how many loved ones would be hurt by their deportaion. They are committing a crime and should be punished and deported.

∙ 12y agoIllegal immigrants are those who are in the US on their own without getting permission from the USCIS. There are some who first enter the US on a valid and legal visa and then overstay comfortably. When they are staying illegally, they put pressure on the existing resources that are being share by the legals and the citizens. They also take away the job opportunities of the deserved as they are willing to work for low wages. So only if they have the legal status they should be allowed to stay in the US otherwise deportation is the answer.

But there are many ways an illegal immigrant can make it difficult to get sent back.
In order to to be let back into their country they need a passport. If the passport is "lost", or the illegal immigrant never had one and managed to get in without one there is then a problem. The government has to prove the person is who they say are in order for the embassy of that country to give them a new passport. The illegal immigrant has no papers.
This can take weeks or months, during which you either have to keep the illegal immigrant in prison at the taxpayers expense, or let them out on bail, then they run away.
If the illegal immigrant never had a passport, it is even more difficult to prove where they came from.
The illegal immigrant can give a false name, and a false nationality. A mexican could claim to be Spanish. The Spanish then say they have no record of somebody of that name, and refuse to accept them.
It can cost a lot of time and money to deport an illegal immigrant.

Well if there illegal and already in the country what is the point of getting one. To acquire a green card one needs to get it in the country in which they originated from. But yes, all immigrants should have some form of identification that shows they legally immigrated to another country, so illegal immigrants need a green card.
