YES because some teenagers bike to and from school and in the winter time it gets colder and darker earlier so i believe that kids should be allowed for safety reasons.

It is none of the school's business if a child skips school so long as the parent phones the school and tells them that their child is not coming to school today. If they do not phone, it is still not the school's business because the child might have a last-minute emergency.
