It isn't a bad idea for teens who are still in highschool to look for or have a job. Most teens who have a job will in high school will most likely be prepared for the future. Having a job can also give you highschool credits required to graduate. Many schools allow students with jobs to leave school early to work. That is only if you have a required amount of credits. Having a job will in high school is a very good idea and some students should continue to pursue their coals.

∙ 12y agoIt depends on a lot of factors. If you're in a low income family, a job in high school might be a good idea. Maybe you're looking to make a few extra bucks on the side or gain experience for future jobs. If this is the case, then it can be beneficial to get a job in high school, provided that you can balance your job with school and other activities. Gaining work experience will only make it easier to obtain another job.
Be careful which high school job you choose. Above all, find a job that you would enjoy doing (e.g. if you're into math and science, find an internship or tutoring job instead of working at a clothing store or fast-food restaurant).

∙ 12y agoTo me it depends on whether you want to work or not. Remember that when you get a job you have to be there everyday you cant be late. Sounds easy huh? Well think twice, you'll be working for the rest of your life to afford the expenses that come with it. At my age I want to work. My opinion is that you should enjoy you childhood and wait until your 16 or 17 to start wording
