What are you going to do with it? If you need to save space or travel a lot, buy a replacement like a laptop. If you just want to replace your old PC with a new one. Just buy another desktop. If you ALSO want to save space but it will stay at the same place. Buy yourself a desktop AND a FLATSCREEN monitor (TFT).

∙ 12y agoIf you want to take it everywhere and use it as a phone go for the smartphone. It can do all the things a tablet can but has a smaller screen. If buying it just for the car and home, collage and plan on watching movies on it then the tablet is for you.

∙ 12y agoit depends on your personal needs a desktop would be better for a home office /work and is more versatile but a tablet is awesome for Surfing the web/games/fun stuff I own an iPad 2 and love it. If you are comparing a computer to a tablet I would consider a laptop but again it all depends on your situation
