90k miles
In 2010 Lexus RX350's started using Timing Chain's in the 3.5 engine, which require no maintenance (unless very high mileage is reached or parts failure). Earlier years <2009 had timing belts. I verified the 2010 model has a timing chain via contacting a local Lexus parts department.
150,000km
According to the Gates website : The 2004 Lexus ES330 , 3.3 liter V6 : Has a timing BELT , it is NOT an interference engine , change the timing belt at 90,000 miles
Is somebody outthere have a full instruction how to replace a timing belt on GS300??
After start up of my 08 es 350 Lexus, a noise sounds like the starter bendix is still engauged for a few seconds, or a timing belt pully is rattling. And only occasionally. Take it in to a mechanic, it dosent do it
Every 90,000 miles
THE WATER PUMP IS BEHIND THE TIMEING CHANGE TO THE RIGHT OF THE CAR IF YOU ARE FACING IT.YES YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE TIMING CHANGE OFF A MUST .YOU SHOULD THE TIMING CHANGE SINCE IT IS OFF.THE HOLE PROCESS IS NOT EASE AT ALL UNLESS YOU KNOW ABOUT TIMING CHANGE. how would i get detailed instructions on how to properly remove timing change so that i can remove the water pump
1999 Lexus? The LS300 i think has a timing belt. I am not sure. Your going to want to check with a mechanic to make sure.
At intervals of 90,000 miles
This repair should only be done by a qualified professional. Also replace the water pump which is driven by the cam belt.
