It is probably freezer-burned and rancid. You should be able to tell from the fragrance of the meat - even in the frozen state. You likely won't be pleased with the results if you use it. Microbiologically, nothing would have increased in numbers if it was kept solidly frozen at 0°F. Pathogens do not grow at those temperatures and would not have produced any toxins.

This food should be safe to eat. If this food was kept frozen for the whole time it was in the freezer it is still good. You can cook it however you choose to. Cooking venison all the way through is a good policy.

Depends on how deep frozen. Dogs have been known to eat recently exposed Mammoths that have been frozen in the northern tundra for thousands of years. Do not take risks.

If it has been kept frozen all the time and if it smells good, I would not be afraid to eat it. It will probably be dry and not very tasty . I would not serve it to guests.

yes, its safe as long it was contained in an airtight package. Frozen foods can keep for a very long time, but the older they are they don't taste as good.

It depends on how it is frozen. If surrounded by ice and protected from air exposure, it can keep well for years.

Can you eat chicken that has been in the freezer since December of 2007?

If it had been frozen solid for two years and the wrapping didn't leak, it wouldn't be a health concern but it might not taste quite right. I believe I'd leave it frozen until trash day and drop it in the can.
