Of course it is! Most couples are not of the same age, and usually the boys are the older ones. It also depends on the age gap and maturity level. If you are 23 years old and he is 40, it's a definite no-no. Let's say he is just a few years older than you, let's say 26 for this instance, but he thinks and acts like a 19-year-old. Seriously, such people are not that worth a second thought. But my conclusion is that as long as you both love each other, it is fine :) Good luck!
It IS in some states like California, but i live in Pennsylvania, and I'm 12 & my bf is 17 but it isn't illegal, my niece's father (my sister never married) is dating some one who is 21 going on 22 (idk when her b-day is) and he is like 31
OFCOURSE, THEY ALWAYS SAY LOVE DOES NOT HAVE AGE. IF THAT PERSON LOVES U AND U LOVE HIM EVERYTHING IS OKAY.
Sure y not my parents are 5 years apart and my mom still says that's too little apart lol
no
I think it is OK as long as your parents like the boy... because my mum is about 8 years younger than my dad.. and age is just a number.... :)
Depends, if you are of legal age (18 or older ) and you wish to date an older man, nobody can say anything about it! However, if you are 17 or younger, it is illegal.
As long as he is at least 16 it really doesn't matter. But it would be strange as you grew up with totally different life experiences.
No but why? Love your parents more and date same age.
It is not wrong to date someone older than you although society may speak ill of it. However, do make sure you share a similar level of maturity for a good relationship.
no but its still wrong exspect your parents 2 be ticked
Generally, larger age differences become more acceptable as you get older. A good rule of thumb is to only date people older than half your age plus seven years. So, the first time when it is (relatively) acceptable to date someone 15 years your junior is when you are in your mid-40s - and they are in their early 30s.
That depends on how old "me" is in this case. If "me" is only 8 years old and wants to date someone who is 17 years old, this would be morally wrong. If "me" is 20 years old and wants to date someone who ie 29 years, that would be acceptable. It's all age relative depending on how old "me" actually is.
sure why not?
Um... No I don't think so, but I recommend you not to date that person though...
It depends on how old you are. If you are a teenager, it can be a little weird but if you are an adult it wont be as bad. Also, the male in a relationship is usually older because they mature later.
May 4 1992 and up makes someone 18 or older.
Can a 16 year old date someone that is 8 years older than themi f they have consent of a parent?
Yes it is absolutely legal in there. You should be of legal age but. That is perfectly legal there.
You ask someone older than you to be your date to homecoming.
