Here are some good links to help you study your best. If you have kept on top of your work during school, the exams won't be as difficult, and you can just spend a few days reviewing old exams and working with study guides. Here are some other specific tips: . Don't try to "cram" - you'll just ma…ke yourself exhausted, and a tired brain doesn't work as well as a rested one . Get enough sleep the night before and eat a healthy breakfast - a glass of plain water will wake your brain up just as much as a Venti Latte without the jitters . Study by learning the types of questions you'll be likely to see - don't try to memorize everything that might be on the test ( Full Answer )

Just relax. The operator has had plenty of experience and if a lady, she has probably been examined herself. If the examination is to take a swab, you are usually told not to wash the area first. You are usually placed on your back, minus underwear, with your knees up and legs spread. You may thin…k this is very unladylike but be assured it is routine to the medical profession and no one else will see you. ( Full Answer )
You should study until you feel confident. The best way is to do your work daily, so that you don't have to have a huge study session right before the test. Keep good notes and use those as study material, instead of trying to read the whole textbook again. Make a Study Deck and keep it with you all… the time, so you can study anywhere. Click on the related questions for specific study tips. That depends on what subject, what grade the kid is in, how smart the kid is, if he pays attention in class, and what kind of test it is. The studying time could range from 5 minutes to 3 hours, depending on all of the above. ( Full Answer )
They still have some uses . Many educators and politicians frequently ask "Should we just do away with tests? They don't really show us much, just how good the student with memorization and test taking skills, right?" There is some merit to that thought, but without having some kind of test, a te…acher doesn't know if the student has sucessfully mastered the material on their own. For now, tests and exams have some use in the educational process, so some of them have to be kept. We can't get rid of them entirely ( Full Answer )
That does depend on what type of exam you re talking about? Also its whatever you feel comfortable with.

Answer: Well schools should have exams because it lets you know if you are ready or not for the real world. For example our school makes us take an exam so we can get our high school diploma. And the exams let you know what you need help on in school. Answer: Schools must have exams to see if… students have understood the course material. Until humans are equipped with USB ports that let our heads be connected to electronic monitors, exams remain the only way to determine the level of knowledge that a student has on a subject. If every student could simply say that he was up on a topic, and that was the only confirmation required, there would no way to judge his ability. Imagine going to a heart surgeon that just felt he knew what he was doing from reading a book called "Heart Surgery for Dummys" Problems that students have are: . Exam anxiety - fear stops them from doing good work . Poorly written exams . Poorly developed exam writing skills . Underlying reading and writing problems . Poor co-ordination between material taught and standard exams . This is not to say that the present methods of giving students exams is good or acceptable. The types of exams and their problems are: . Skill observation, as used in CPR curses and similar. The student must perform under observation of an instructor until performance meets agreed upon standards. Creates high levels of anxiety. . Multiple choice exams. The student must chose the right answer from a limited set of almost right answers. A potential for patterns of answers or cheats is possible. . Exams graded electronically. Answers must match exactly when the question may be ambiguous . Exams graded by assistants. Alternate exam ansers may be equally correct as the professors desired response but presented differently but the TAs inexperience does not identify this. . Regurgitation exams. Students are taught to repeat provided answers word for word until the recitation is perfect. No understanding is required. . Long term observation. A student claiming to have skills is observed for a long period of time to determine is the skill is evident. A time consuming and instructor intensive method. . Demonstration of learned skills. Problems in maths, science or understanding are posed and the student develops an answer. The student using a unique solution may be penalized. Markers must rate technique as well as answers for marks. ( Full Answer )

It's a debate. AND I am speaking for the motion good........ all of u today I__SOUMYA NAITHANI__________ is going to speak for the motion should exams be banned. in my opinion they should be banned the present examination system means putting more stress ,burden and tension on the brain of student…s and under these conditions students take wrong steps like ending their life by attempting suicide .Present examination system did not judge students on the basis of their knowledge but how far they can mug up all the things .Students waste their time in tut ions and buy visiting markets and contacting people for various help books .for getting good marks in exams students use negative ways like cheating, buying leaked papers etc.Today people do not study for gaining knowledge but because of jealousy they learn all the books to compete with another person. The same situation occurs with their parents they want their child on top to present qualities of their child in front of some another.Instead of this students should more emphasis on research work, presentations ,speeches on a topic etc. THANK YOU ( Full Answer )
Here are some sure-fire ways to flunk that exam! . Never do your schoolwork . Stay up and party with your friends instead of studying . Go play instead of working . Draw cartoons on your exam paper instead of answering the questions . Sleep through the test . Skip school . Facebook
You should be confident It will show if you are not. There is nothing to worry about. Trust me, I have danced for over 11 years. I think you can be a small bit nervous to keep yourself in line, but don't start worrying like crazy. I was a competitive dancer for a long time. At my first competition I… stressed over it for like two weeks before the competition .I was so distracted in school and I was all messed up. Then after I did the competition I didn't even know why I had worried so much. Don't worry too much. I'm sure you will do fine. If you have any more questions just post them and they will get answered quickly. ( Full Answer )

Most infants should get a physical examination every few months. Many disease processes can affect height, weight and head circumferance. Early detection of these concerns can make all the difference in treatment. Older childrens should be seen every year by their medical doctor.
You should read literature that builds up your vocabulary. You should also buy some practice test books or do some research online.
our education system has been designed in such a way that students undergo the board exams twice - once in tenth and once in twelfth. Once the students undergo the tenth board exams they get a glimpse of what the board exams are like and later when they appear for the 12th boards, their pressure and… stress is much reduced. Hence the pressure of the students is very well balanced due to the two board exams held. Board exams are a benchmark for assessing a child's educational standards. Board exams help students to battle out the most difficult of all exams and tackle tense situations with ease. Education upto the tenth standard is considered to be the basic education which a child receives. Even though he/she is interested in non academic fields such as performing arts or sports, etc. the basic knowledge that they receive uptill 10th makes them aware of their surroundings. The education pattern is such that it develops the personality of the child so that later on he/she can express their views and ideas regarding any general topic. It prevents them from being ignorant of their own society. The system is absolutely well designed and apt for the all round development of a person. Even a very famous sportsman will know something about history of his country and geography of the world. And that applies to people in all fields. The boards help in acquainting the students with the little pressure so that they are used to handling pressure and don't fell bothered about it later in their life. ( Full Answer )

i really hate exams but i see no reason for it to be abolished. it's the ONLY way to test if the students really understand the lesson. it's kinda like a big help to us since we're benefiting from it. but, of course, if you're motivationally deficient, then tests don't really matter at all. XD
Yes, because it shows how much you have improved or need improving in certain areas of an subject. It also shows who is smarter than another like in the HSC you need a certain ATAR to get into the university in the subject you want to get in for.
If you've been keeping up with your homework, you'll probably do OK on the test even without studying. You might not make the grade you want, but you'll probably pass. Right before class, use your notes to review the material. If you haven't been doing your work, I suggest prayer.
Routine physical examinations performed by physicians are recommended every three years for men in their twenties and thirties, every two years for men in their forties, and every year for men over 50.
According to the American Optometric Association, the first infant eye exam should be performed at the age of 6 months. Early eye exams are important for children because early diagnoses of vision problems often offers higher cure rates and greater treatment success.
Most people would get their eyes checked at least once a year to every eighteen months, but some get appointments as often as every six months. If you have strong vision and no history of eye complications, your expected necessity for eye exams is relatively low.

Today was my last day of exams for the semester! This is a very controversial topic. A lot of people believe that exams do not accurately reflect a person's understanding of the subject (due to the time time crunch, pressure, stress, etc), while others believe that those factors are necessary to dem…onstrate the student's understanding of the material. Personally, I believe that it depends on the style of the exam. Some exams seem very out of line, while others are alright. ( Full Answer )

If you are asking about the Building Systems exams, which are necessary if you want to become a licensed architect, I enclose a link to a helpful site which explains what is on these exams. This is an interesting question. Many might say yes because, in reality, most don't like to be given tests. Most don't enjoy studying hard for lengthy examinations to receive a number or a letter that represents their performance. Additionally, there is no way to tailor every educational system o…r examination to meet the learning preferences of every student. Through this way of thinking, the answer should be yes. However, the real answer is a sound no. Without a test, how can one truly know if they have learned (or at least memorized)? Tests exist to rate the performance of an individual. They let the examiners know where we stand on a particular topic or in a particular field. While most people will say that they don't enjoy being given a series of questions to answer, a lot of people will agree that they enjoy being challenged when doing what they excel at.
