How do you tell your kids that santa isn't real?

Personally, i think that you tell them that Santa is real then when you think they are old enough like 7 or something then tell them that we say he isn't real to keep him away . They aren't likely to scream about it that he isn't real. Or you could joke about it like saying yeah he is real and how do you think he goes to every house in one night. You could just say he is not real to begin with it is sort of a joke

yes. i think it is harm to lie to children. espeshally littele ones. santa makes them dummer and dummer. think about this. a kid has so many toys. he will play with those and not do his home work. he will have bad grades cause santa spoils him. and also santa is your dad. every one knows that

this is tricky, if u tell your kid too soon theyll mourn but if you tell them too late theyll be mad at you. i would say somwhere in between 5 and 7 no later than 8.
