Can you wear knee boots with a cocktail dress?

Hmmm..it depends on the type of boots, how high they are, and what colour they are but what I suggest is a denim skirt (not past your knees) and a tight fitting sleeveless (maybe with a sweater or jacket). If it makes you feel beautiful, yes!!

To my personal taste, a skirt should always be short enough to show some leg above the top of your boots. But that's me.

We should all be guided by what makes us feel great. :-)

Yes definetly! If your worried about what other people might think or thinking about that your most fashionable bestie said to never wear a flowy skirt with knee-high boots forget it! You can most defienetly wear it! They go great together but make sure the skirt is not too long so that it covers the shoes or it'll look lke your wearing ultra high boots and it will look weird. People will need to see parts of your legs in order to see that you are not completely fashion-wise dumb! Have fun!:)
