• The Life and Teachings of Jesus - The life and teachings of Jesus are the gospel accounts based on the ministry of Jesus and what he did and taught from about the years A.D. 28 to 30

Just like the stages of physical human development from a single cell to an mature adult, there is spiritual growth spoken to in the Bible.

First, we all start by being born. We soon become predisposed or have a propensity to sin - becoming sinners. When we are adults, we can seriously repent of all sins and then desire to be outwardly 'wash' clean via baptism. Then a representative of God lays hands upon the person and ask for the promise of God's Spirit to enter into us and 'begat' us as His future child.

So, if one must think of 5 stages to become a disciple of Christ, they are:

birth, sinner, repentant, baptized, begotten in the God Family.

If the person holds fast to the end, then at the sounding of the 7th Trumpet blast, they will be 'born again' as first fruits or spiritual children of God.
