Load test the battery at half of its cold cranking amp capacity. If it dips under 9.6v, replace the battery. If your battery is good, replace the ignition solenoid, it should be on the firewall somewhere near the passenger side.

could be a bad cable connection. clean the battery terminals and the clamps on the battery cables. if it continues to do it, check for a bad ground cable from the battery.

If it jump starts, the problem is probably either the battery or a corroded battery connection terminal.
Have the charging system checked. The light comes on when there is a charging system problem. it may be a battery, alternator or a battery problem.
If it isn't starting you have another problem.
Could be a number of things, but its definitely an electrical problem. Most likely a bad connection from starter motor to battery. Check all leads. Could be a bad ground connection. Could also be the ignition switch.
First clean battery connections, if this does not correct problem the battery needs replacing.
