by order people strictly to use cng gas in all vehicles ,to order all industry to use thind which do not cause pollution and order industry not to drop polluted water into water of rivers,lekes and etc and aware people about water pollution and ask them not to waste water

Actully the government sussest many ways but we people does't follow the rules & regulation given by government we all do that only which we want to do, we through anything in the river so while searching this topic we dont get anything & we say that " government is not doing anything ". So we should prevent ourself while throughing anything in the ganga & relise our mistake ........!

The Indian Government has taken a lot of steps to tackle climate change, but these are not very well known.

(1) Prime ministers* national acton plan on climate change--> it contains 8 sub plans including a national solar mission to increase the share of solar energy in our energy consumption.

(2) India has pledged to voluntarily reduce precisely by 20-25% of the carbon emmissions below the 2005 levels by 2020

(3) BEE ratings have been introduced for electrical appliances like tubelites, so that people know how much their electricity bill is going to increase and buy less energy consuming appliances [i.e those with higher BEE rating]

(4) Bharat IV emmission norms for all 4 wheelers will be introduced in the country from 2010

(5) India is the 4th largest producer of electricity by wind energy in the world and the government offers concessions to companies who establish wind farms

(6) India as set up the ministry of new and renewable energy, which provides funds for developing new sources of energy in India .Eg: Asia's largest solar pond has been set up at Bhuj in rajasthan. Also an experimental Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) plant is being set up in Kerala

( 7) India had announced a National Biofuel policy, by which, biofuels will be grown on non-agricultural land, using the plant jatropha, so that the agricultural production is not harmed in any way.

( 8) India has agreed to a 20-25% carbon emission intensity* cuts on the 2005 levels by 2020. This would be done through a series of measures including mandatory fuel efficiency standards for all vehicles, a compulsory green building code and switching over to clean coal technology. Such measures will be included in their 12th Five-Year Plan.

Make the covering of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays smaller. Use energy efficient light bulbs. Drive at 55 mph, instead of 75 mph or faster. Make fewer auto trips.
