Still can't find 4 way flasher in 98 Pontiac grand am se 6-cylinder need map?
My grand am flash module is located under the drivers side dash. If you have problems finding it, if the flashers work (probably not), turn them on and listen.
Your 2001 Pontiac Grand-Am is making a clicking like the turn signal is on while you're driving but the signal is not flashing or on whats the problem?
I just had this problem with my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. The problem is a short in the "multi-function switch." When I took it to get fixed, they told me that a lot of Pontiac Grand Ams have had this problem, and mine was fixed through warranty. If that is not the problem with your car, check the "signal flasher relay." Hope I helped!
Even though you have changed the flasher unit your 1992 Pontiac Grand Am turn signal turns on and does not flash?
Many mistake the hazzard flasher for the turn signal flasher. Maybe you replaced the hazzard flasher? Also, a burned out bulb will not give enough electrical resistance to the circuit, and result in a very slow or stopped flash. Since your flasher is most likely mechanical, turn on your hazzards and put your fingers over the flasher unit. If you feel it click on & off, then you need to find the turn signal flasher…
The Emergency Flasher Button is located on the steering column. It is labeled Hazard Flasher and is a black piece of rectangular plastic that you slide up to put your emergency flasher lights on (easiest with your right hand) and slide downward (towards the floor) to turn your lights off If you mean the flasher relay unit it should be above the passengers feet behind a plastic cover on the underside of the dash.
