When Josh thought that he was going to be playing Baseball for the summer, his dad got assigned a job in India. So instead of playing baseball for the summer, Josh will be spending the entire summer in Washington with his aunt who he doesn't even know. When josh meets a ghost named Wille, he wants Josh to dig up his leg bone from the cemetery. His leg was blown off in a mine explosion, and was buried separate. When Josh goes to dig up the leg bone, he finds a small metal box. After Josh reburies Willie's bones, he decides to open the metal box and he finds $360,000! After about five minuets, a stranger pulls up into the driveway. Just before Josh goes to meet the stranger, the man steps out of the car with a black ski mask on. When he busts down the door and starts to search the house, Josh realized that the metal box he found probably belonged to the man. After he leaves, Josh goes into the house to call the police. When there is no dial tone, Josh saw that the cord was cut and he was stuck. He has no one to help him. Then the man comes back to the house and when he comes in, he points a gun at Josh and asks him for the box. Josh didn't want to give it to him because he thought he was trying to steal it. When Willie tries to help him by pushing plates and glass of shelves to scare the robber, a lady comes and knocks on the door. The robber hides behind the couch as Josh answers it. The lady was one of Aunt Ethel's friends who have been buying cakes from her for years. Josh uses the frosting to write the word "HELP" on the cake. When she leaves knowing that Josh needs help, josh tries to waste time until the police arrive. Right when the robber leaves with the money, two police cars pull into the driveway to catch the crook. When the police find the money, gun, and mask under the car seat, they realize that the crook is the manager of the bank! The man was arrested and the money was returned. He was going to retire in two days and that money was for his retirement in Florida. So now Josh goes back to nursing 4 cats and finding somewhere to live for them.
