Without seeing the car myself I would be fearful to say yes or no. However I would think by now you have made this decision. , EzForJesus

AnswerSway bar endlinks are annoying when broke, but not necessary to drive. Your car will handle like crap until you change the endlinks; fortunately, that's easy to do. All you have to do is jack up both sides of whichever end of the car is in question. It's important to have both sides at equal height because if you don't the swaybar will be in tension and it'll be really really really really hard to do anything with it. The design changes by year but usually it's a setup involving two wrenches. The new endlinks can be as cheap as $20. Plastic is also almost as strong as metal when in direct tension, so don't worry about the fact that they're plastic.

I replaced my driver side rear sway bar link ,it broke off where the bottom nut is.on a 1996 Ford Taurus.jack up body rear as high as possible, removed old link with washers.went to auto zone got part number sl304 ,price 11.99,a little thicker than the original, came with 4 rubber bushings, 2 nuts 2 washers.installed top 1st little hard to screw nut little room there, used extra small nut driver. the bottom stub,at first looked impossible to fit into the sway bar hole, and couldn't pull the sway bar down low enough to fit it in.Then i thought about lowering the jack a little that was holding the body but keeping the tire at the same height .by slipping one of my plastic ramps i usually drive up on underneath the tire as far as i could holding that tire where it was, when i lower the jack a little the end of the link at the bottom went right in.put my 4 bushings on and washers. used a vice grip on the link bar so when i turned the nuts it wouldn't move. so to finish i was able to replace the suspension link bar ,mine runs from the suspension sway bar to the strut on my 96 Taurus.have two the other was ok for now. the nuts that came with the auto zone link have a little indention, can only screw with fingers a little way to get started but a nut driver will move them.self locking don't need lock tight on those nuts. someone took me about 2 hrs but can be done faster next time wont have to figure out the install.don't know if what did is correct or not ,technically ,but the part is on,four bushings link bar and tighten down the same distance as the nuts on old one on the other side.will buy one more and keep in trunk if the other breaks rb
