Your eyes burn in any pool for the same reason, pH levels out of range, or the cloramines are to high. Check the pH 1st, should be 7.4 to 7.6, low-add soda ash, high add muriatic acid. Cloramines, total chlorine minus free chlorine, should not be above .5 ppm, if so shock pool.
check out the chlorine in the water or see if there is some other imbalance, Take a sample of water to your pool shop and they can also be of assistance by testing the water.
A: The imbalance is not so much in the chlorine content as it is in the balance of the pH and Total alkalinity. Adjust the latter 2 and you eye burning will diminish greatly.
Your PH isn't the only thing to worry about, I recently did a few tests because we were having the same problem. There is a chemical used to keep algae off the tile around the edge of the pool. this stuff contains a chemical that not only causes skin and eye irritation but has been found to cause cancer in labratory animals! you can check out my website for the whole writeup on this topic including detailed lab procedures to prove that this chemical is in the pool www.howtoalmanac.com/Kevin/informatives/pool.htm
usaully your eyes burn while swimming because the pH level of the water is out of balance and when this happens you actually start damaging the eye tissues is not life threatening because your eyes immediately start to heal themselves I recommend that everyone should carry a small bottle of pool test strips with them they are inexpensive and you can instantly test pool water before jumping in because lets face it the sanitizer level of the water needs to be high enough to protect you and your family from disease like ecoli . public pools are never as clean as you think
Chlorine is a harsh chemical, the same chemical that is used in bleach, and it is used to kill germs in Swimming Pools. It has a tendency to irritate peoples eyes, especially right after new chlorine is added.

Yes. Any salt water would hurt your eyes, if you have your eyes open.
It is from the chlorine (or in some pools, bromine) used to disinfect the water, and is normal.
The clorine gets in your eyes.
Try to use less or no chloride.
Shampoo stings your eyes because it has soap in it

A bee does not sting itself, but a wasp sometimes will. Bees will sting other bees if they are fighting.
Yes, it will sting/burn your eyes and will perhaps blind you.
Chlorine water. Normal fresh water is good and it cleanses your eyes. But chlorine water is fine as long as there's not to much in the pool your eyes may sting and go red afterwards so just splash them with fresh normal water
Onions make guinea pigs eyes sting too, just like it makes ours. The guinea pig is simply keeping its eyes from the sting of the onion.
depends on ur heath clorine is bad cheamicals but salt might sting ur cuts or hurt ur eyes
Alt water in a pool should have no effect on your eyes because it has the same saltines as your own tears. However sea water is a lot more salty and will tend to sting a Little some times. Eyes in swimming pools can also become sensitive to chlorine or other chemicals.
If you pour it in, it would sting a bit.
