Blown fuse or bad headlight switch
Could be the brake light switch or fuse.
Bad bulbs can be the cause of your reverse lights not working on your 1999 Toyota Tacoma. A problem with the reverse switch or bad wires can also be the cause of your reverse lights not working.
One fuse controls the function of the hazard, reverse, and turn signals of the car. When there fuse blows all the components stop working.
check if reverse lights are working, if not replace the reverse switch plug located underside near the gear box, centre of car, there are two plugs, check if wires are frayed, this happened to me and when I replaced this my turn signals started working. hope this helps
Try replacing the headlight switch. Do the front parklights work and not the rear ones? If so check the harness to the rear of the vehicle for breakage.
Brake lights and turn signals are on a separate circuit from the tail lights. Tail lights are on the same circuit with the dashboard lights. If the dashboard lights aren't working either, check the fuse. If they ARE working, check the headlight switch.
switch on the transmission which sends a signal to the reverse lights when shift is in reverse......... is shot. You need a mechanic.
Check the fuses first then check the bulbs.
On the back of a car there are tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights. Cars also have back up lights that tell people when the car is in reverse.
my turn signals do not work in my 1992 Pontiac Firebird
have you checked the bulbs and fuses
check for blown fuses
