Check the sensor connection underneath your distributor, its a single pin sensorwith a yellow and green wire to it. On this diagram, its the green sensor...
The coolant gauge temp sensor is a one wire sensor located on the right rear of the engine block.
Check with manual gauge - if pressure normal - could be defevtive oil pressure sensor or gauge
Gas sensor? Not sure what you mean, could it be a Fuel gauge sensor? Oxygen sensor? Fuel pressure regulator?
Bad oil pressure sending unit?
Open in sender circuit or a shorted rheostat aka "Fuel level sender sensor" GM's terminology. Check power and ground @ IP cluster too. Good luck and I hope this solves your porblem.Aloha!
the fuel pump is combined with the fuel gauge sending unit and is ------------------------------ located inside your gas tank.
There is'nt one on the guage cluster but there is on the motor up by the thermostat housing
A 1991 Dakota does not use a mass airflow sensor.A 1991 Dakota does not use a mass airflow sensor.
My Corsica's temp gauge went out, and to replace the OEM gauge would have required buying the whole instrument panel. We bought an aftermarket gauge and mounted it under the dash. It cost much less, and hey, it's not a show car so I don't mind that it's not 'perfect'. Just find the temp sensor on the engine (driver's side of car on back side of engine), and either use the sensor wire there or replace with one that works with your gauge.
A 1991 doesn't have a crank sensor, it only has a distributor pick up plate(cam sensor)
My 1992 Spirit does the exact same thing... its either the Coolant Temperature Sensor that screws into the engine or as in my case a faulty Temp Gauge.
The idle sensor on a 1991 S10 4.3 can be located at the engine bay.
