What is the age and value of a 12 gauge Stevens Savage Arms double barrel shotgun made in Chicopee Falls?
Stevens made firearms in Chicopee Falls from 1864 to 1990 but the association with Savage did not begin until 1920 and if the gun is marked with both names, it was probably not made until after WWII. If it was manufactured after 1968 it WILL have a serial number, but if made earlier it MAY have one. A utility double barrel that shows some wear but is still functional is worth about $200-250.
Although the company dates back to 1864, the name "J Stevens Arms Co" was not used until after the company was bought by Savage Arms in 1920. In the mid 1940s, the name was shortened to "Stevens".

Riverside Arms was a tradename used by Stevens and later by Savage. Would help to know what other markings are on the gun.
What is the value of a 22 short long or long rifle made by Savage Arms Corporation Chicopee Falls Mass USA?
Anywhere from $50=200. Savage made several DOZEN different models. Exact value would depend on model AND condition.
There may have been a little difference in the grade of wood used and perhaps a little less care was taken in the fit and finish of the Stevens guns, but all parts should be completely interchangeable. Stevens was the economy line for the Savage Arms Corporation from about 1930 to 1990.
Not if they were manufactured prior to 1969.

Savage Arms didn't move to Westfield until 1961. So being that Savage owned Stevens I'm guessing it's around that time. Not sure what year the 58 was introduced and discontinued, but I'm guessing a bulk of them were made in Chicopee Falls, or Utica, NY.

I have no specific listing for Chicopee Arms. In general, MOST firearms from Chicopee Falls Mass end up being replated to Savage/ J. Stevens. They were based there, absorbed several smaller businesses, and would mark guns as the distributor wanted them marked. Most single shots were utility grade shooters (gun of the working man- farmer, mechanic, store keeper) and do not have a high collectors value. Most are in the $100 range if shootable.
What years was the Springfield 410 model 1929 with markings 1929 and made in Chicopee Falls manufactured?
I suspect you are confusing a patent date marking with a model number. What are the other markings on the gun? email@example.com OK. The best we can do is narrow it to the 1930's. No factory records exist. This was after the Savage takeover, and Stevens was still producing guns in the Chicopee Falls plant. They used the Springfield name as a value-brand.
The savage/stevens model 59 was made between the years 1938-1945.
Where can you find information on a Springfield Arms Company of Chicopee Falls Mass Model 929 break open single shot 410?
Springfield was a trade name used by the J. Stevens Arms division of Savage Arms from about 1920 to 1948. Savage-made firearms marketed under the Springfield brand name were prevalent at least into the 1960's. The Chicopee Falls marking on this shotgun indicates manufacture between 1946 and 1959. I have most, if not all, the Savage catalogs and factory parts manuals from 1920 forward and am having difficulty finding a '929' model... can you verify… Read More
