They can be stored in either of three places. The Macintosh HD, the desktop, or the Documents folder. To create your own folder, go to file, then new folder.
Files are created to be stored in a folder. Folders are created to store files.
If you delete a folder then everything in it will be deleted. So if there are files in it, they will be deleted. So always be careful when deleting folders.
First, go in your folder where your apps are stored. Then, touch an app for about 3 seconds until its wiggly. And then you can pull it out of the folder.
The left pane of Windows Explorer shows the drives and folders in a layout called a tree. There is a + symbol to the left of each. Clicking on it shows all the folders stored in that drive. If there is a + beside the folder, clicking on it will show the subfolders stored in that folder. If you are talking about the left side of the AOL Read page, read on: Click on Saved on AOL, then right click and name new folder as Test001 One at a time, pick and drag all the folders you want to sort or alphabetize to Test001. Write them down in the REVERSE of how you want to sort. When your original folder is completely empty, start picking and dragging them back to their original folder FROM THE TOP or your list to the BOTTOM. So if you want to alphabetize these folders, your written list will list the folders from Z to A or start at the bottom of the alphabet then work towards "A".
