The horn on your 99 Hyundai elantra works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't could it be a loose wire a blown fuse or should the horn be replaced?

When it does'nt work, put your finger on the horn relay located in the engine compartment fuse box. If you feel or hear a "clic", you're sure that the contact is good in the steering and the fuse is ok. You might have a relay or horn problem. (If the horn has a strange sound when it works, it should probably be replaced.)If you don't hear the "clic", you might have a relay problem or an open cicuit.
