Magnetoresistance is an effect observed in (ferro)magnetic conductors. When applying an external magnetic field to the conductor, the resistance of the conductor changes. The resistance is minimized when the magnetic field is aligned parallel to the conductor, and maximized when the magnetic field is aligned perpendicular to the conductor. This effect was first observed by W. Thomson in 1856, and changes in resistance are usually below 1% at room temperature and higher at lower temperatures <5K For further reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetoresistance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_scattering
Energy changes from ball to ball down the accelerator just as it does in Newton's cradle. It functions on the transfer of momentum.
Overall, induced voltage is proportional to the product of the number of loops of coiled wire and the rate at which the magnetic field changes
Free electrons in the conducting carry a charge, and electrons are influenced by magnetic waves. Thus if a magnetic wave is generated by the changing field, electrons will feel the influence. Since the system is naturally stable it will resist changes, and thus it opposes the influence. The current flowing in the conductor will generate a field opposing the incoming field.
To create rotating magnetic field inside motor stator and it is done by capacitor. current drawn by motor running winding is lagging in nature when capacitor is connected in series with starting winding then the phase angle of running winding current and starting winding currents changes which creates a rotating magnetic field and motor is able to run.
When the current in a nearby coil changes, the magnetic flux associated with it changes and an induced emf is produced in the other coil.Hence, induced current is produced.
Electromagnetic waves, like light, do involve changes in the electric and the magnetic field. These changes propagate at the speed of light - as a wave.Electromagnetic waves, like light, do involve changes in the electric and the magnetic field. answer
From changes in its magnetic field, assuming that the magnetic field rotates with the core.
A magnetic field
The magnitude of the magnetic field is decreased
It changes over time through direction and strength. So therefore Magnetic North becomes Magnetic South.
Yes evry millinium it changes
Uniform magnetic field depends on the position of its surrounding. A non uniform magnetic field changes its position from one place to another.
Scientists follow the magnetic field lines of the earth and measure them regularly. They will compare the earlier measurements and note the changes in position of the magnetic axis and decide if it is changing or not! Also if there are sudden changes observed in magnetic field lines bec of solar flares from sun. Magnetism is an interesting chapter! learn more by watching and subscribing to this space @PhysicsFusion-sm3tr Hope this helps
The magnetic field periodically changes its orientation.
The Earth's magnetic field changes over time because that is the way that God makes it.
