This energy is supplied by the combination of electric current and electrical potential that is delivered by the circuit. At the point that this electrical potential energy has been converted to another type of energy, it ceases to be electrical potential energy. It doesn't. Energy doesn't travel 'around' a circuit. It travels from the supply to the load. And it isn't delivered to the load by the current. It doesn't even travel through the wires. It travels as a result of what is called the 'Poynting's Field' which acts perpendicularly to both the electric and magnetic fields.
Any electrical appliance would be the object eg. a motor, a light, a heater etc
