It is acceleration. Recall the accelerator hold in case of two wheeler and accelerator pedal in case of four wheeler. After the engine is started then we turn the throttle and vehicle starts moving from rest and soon the velocity goes on increasing. The more we turn in case of two wheeler and the more we press the pedal in case of four wheeler, the speed gets increased so quickly. So 'rate of' phrase is used to mean any change with respect to time or change happening in one second.

Rate of displacement is velocity

Rate of change in velocity is acceleration

Rate of doing work is power

Rate of flow of charge is electric current.

The rate at which the velocity of an object changes is called?

acceleration

Is the rate at which an object changes velocity?

No, velocity is the instantaneous speed of an object, the rate of change would be the acceleration of the object.

Rate of change of the velocity of an object?

The change in velocity is just the change in velocity. The RATE of change of velocity - how quickly velocity changes - is usually called "acceleration".

What can be defined as the rate at which velocity changes?

accelerationThe rate at which velocity changes is called "acceleration".

The rate at which theposition of an object changes is it's?

When an object is accelerating if its?

An object accelerates if its velocity changes. More precisely, "acceleration" is the rate of change of velocity (how quickly velocity changes), or in symbols, dv/dt.

What is the rate at which the speed of an object changes?

The change in an objects velocity is called acceleration. The formula is:a = F/m where a is acceleration, m is the mass, and F is the force acting on the object.

What is the rate of change velocity called?

The rate of which something changes its velocity is the acceleration. A common mistake is to think that something moving fast is accelerating, but it's only accelerating if the velocity of that object is changing.

The rate at which an object moves is called?

Velocity

What is the rate at which veloctiy changes?

That rate at which the velocity of an object changes is known as the acceleration of said object. It can be defined mathematically as a=v/t where a=acceleration, v=the change in velocity, and t=the time in which this change in velocity occurred.

What is the rate at which the velocity of an object changes?

That's the magnitude of its acceleration.
