The brain stem (the medulla oblongata).
The heart is located in the epigastric region. More specifically, it is located in the mediastinum, which is in the epigastric region.
The adrenal medulla is the part of the brain responsible for the release of adrenaline, when the adrenaline is released into the blood, the SAN is stimulated to work faster and increase your heart rate, this happens when playing sport or during your fight or flight response. However, the heart is not controlled by your brain as it is a myogenic muscle (self-exciting) this means that if you were to remove the heart from a body it would continue to beat. The sino-atrial node is responsible for the excitation of the heart. :) Hope this helps. Steph :)
veins are responsible for bringing blood back to the heart.
It attaches directly to the brain but not the heart
The heart is about the size of your fist and is located sub-sternal, center thoracic, superior to the stomach with the apex on the left. In English, it is behind and slightly to the left of your breastbone.
The heart controls all activity and function of viscera. The heart is located in the autonomic nervous system.
The heart is located in the epigastric region. More specifically, it is located in the mediastinum, which is in the epigastric region.
Since the brain is located above the heart, it is superior to the heart.

It does not need our thoughts to move. The heart continues to beat even if you are sleeping or unconsious. There is a special section of the brain that regulates heart rate.
Your heart, brain, and lungs because without them you would not be able to walk, run, or even live! So you need your heart, brain & lungs to regulate your body activities.hope this helps with homework!(:
Brainstem
The brain is the computer for the body. A person can not live without a brain because it regulates the heart and all the body functions. Hence, the term brain dead means the body is dead.
Answer 1 The limbic system (top of the brain stem including the medulla and pons which is located at the base of the brain) deals with (or regulates) breathing and heart rate. Answer 2 No doubt. I agree with the medulla oblongata. Answer 3 It's the Medulla.
It has many functions such as sleeping, your heart rate and many others functions. It also controls and regulates your breathing as well as your eating habits.
