The results of the Declaration of Independence?

Before the declaration of independence, we had to put up with in the intolerable acts and all of the injustices that England, the mother country, was forcing on us, treating us like a couple of colonies, instead of a people, or more specifically, a country.
This declaration of independence was a declaration of war with England, as they were not too happy with the fact that their little ant farm across the Atlantic grew a brain and some civil rights.
The biggest results in our declaration was the war that followed and the rights, freedoms, and independent nationality that followed our victory.
