The study of the processes of living organisms is?
I think it is Biology.
From what I understand, I believe biological sciences works with all things biotic or living and includes the study of chemical processes and metabolic pathways in organisms, the way living things function and adapt and the tally of different organisms, whereas physical sciences deals with physics and chemistry and does not study living things, but more the chemical reactons that fuel processes in organisms and the forces that act as scientific law in the universe.
Herpetology is the study of amphibians and reptiles. Some of the scientific disciplines that might be related, include but are not limited to, the following: Biology: (the study of all living organisms and life itself) Because they are alive. Zoology: (the study of all animal life and life itself) Because they are animals. Biochemistry: The study of living organisms and the supporting processes within them. Molecular biology: The study of living organisms and processes at…
Your answer could apply to any of the three following situations: Ecology is the study of the relationships between living organisms and their environment Coniology is the study of dust in the atmosphere and its effects on living organisms Actinobiology is the study of the effects of radiation upon living organisms
Chemical principles are important in modern cell biology because all living cells are made up of chemicals and many chemical processes occur in various living organisms. Chemistry is the one science in which all the other sciences are based. In biology you learn about living organisms and their composition. Organisms are alive because of chemistry - Why we breathe oxygen, how we make energy, elimination of waste products, cellular respiration, etc. All of these are…
Biology - n. The study of living organisms and their vital processes. It is the science devoted living organisms both plants and animals. The term biology has been derived from two Greek words ;bios=life, logos=thinking ,discourse or knowledge. It is divided into two main branches, botany and zoology. Biology is the area of science that studies life and its processes Biology is a branch of science that deal with the study of life
Geology is the study of the Earth, the materials of which it is made, the structure of those materials, and the processes acting upon them. It includes the study of the organisms which inhabit our planet. A very important part of geology is the study of how Earth’s materials, structures, processes and organisms have changed over time.
Yes, chemistry can be applied in the study of biology. Chemical principles are important in the field of cell biology, because all cells are made up of chemicals and chemical processes occur in living organisms. Organisms are alive because of chemistry. The processes of life, homeostasis, respiration, organisation, metabolism, and reproduction, are all dependent upon chemistry.
Botany- study of plants Zoology - study of living organism (macro) Microbiology- is the study of microorganisms Bio chemistry- the study of the chemical processes in living organisms. Ecology- is the scientific study of the distribution and abundance of life and the interactions between organisms and their environment Molecular biology is the study of biology at a molecular level Phisiology- is the study of the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of living organisms. Cytology- is…
