Xylem Tissue
The type of tissue that carries food and water through a plant is called vessil tissue.
There are two separate tissues.Xylem is for water and phloem is for food.
Food is transported through phloem. water is transported through xylem. They are vascular tissues
Xylem is the tissue which transports water and minerals. Food is trans located through phloem.
Phloem tissue transports food and water, while xylem transports waste. This is found not to be the case; xylem, after a brief internet search transporst water, waste, and soluble minerals while phloem transports Glucose (C6H12O6), and other minerals needed to sustain the plant.
Xylem moves water upward and Phloem move food and nutrients downward to the roots.
If by "food" you mean the product of photosynthesis, this is transported through the plant (from the leaves and green parts) by the Phloem vessels - this is generally in a downward direction. If by "food" you mean nutrients that are absorbed from the soil, these are absorbed in solution by the roots and then transported in an upward direction throughout the plant by the Xylem vessels
Xylem tissue in plants transports water and mineral salts from the roots up to the leaves. It also provides strength to the plants thanks to a woody substance called lignin. Phloem in plants transports food (made in the leaves) to the rest of the plant.
"it transports water and food inside the plant" is a characteristic as xylem transports water and the phloem transports food in the form of sucrose. "it support the plants stems and leaves" is a characteristic of vascular tissue because the arrangement of the xylem and phloem provide it with strength and therefore support. the last one is then the wrong characteristic.
Vascular. Transports Water, Food, Hormones, and Minerals
Phloem
There are two transport systems in a plant, one for food and one is for water. the transport tissue for food is called the phloem and for the water is called the xylem.
The phloem carries the food down from the leaves. Not to be confused with xylem, which carries water up to the leaves.
Xylem is the tissue which transports water and minerals. Food is trans located through phloem.
Vascular plants are plants that contain vascular tissue such as xylem and phloem. The xylem transports water and minerals from the roots to the rest of the plant and the phloem transports food and nutrients such as sugar and amino acids. Some vascular plants are a part of your diet!
the fertilization
Phloem tissue transports food and water, while xylem transports waste. This is found not to be the case; xylem, after a brief internet search transporst water, waste, and soluble minerals while phloem transports Glucose (C6H12O6), and other minerals needed to sustain the plant.
Xylem. To carry water from the roots of the plant to the leaves of the plant.Phloem. To carry the manufactured sugars from where the are manufactured, leaves generally, to throughout the plant and wherever needed.
there are connective tissues in plants which helps them to transport water and nutrients.xylem helps plants ,in transporting water and minerals . and phloem helps plants to transport food from one place to another.
transports food and water supplies to the plant and cell.
