You may have a relay problem your flashers and turn signal are on different relays or there could be a problem with the wiring in the steering column that goes to the turn signal

It's built into the button you push in the dash to turn the hazard flashers on. GM has had a lot of trouble with those flashers and there was a recall on certain models. The part # is 10359580 and it lists for $24.15 plus tax.

There are two different ways they did this on the 95-97 Grand Marquis. Some have a flasher module, about $12.00. It will be located on the left side of the dash, in the fusebox. If your car doesn't have one there, the flasher is built into the lighting control module (About $325-350). That module is on the inside of the firewall, just left of the steering column. Another source of your problem could be the multifunction switch, which controls the turn signals, flashers and high/low beam switch. It's the box inside the steering column that the turn signal stalk attaches to. The turn signals and flashers portion of it has been known to go out, while everything else on it works. Replacing it is a nuisance, as the tilt lever is in the way. Good luck. Flashers are usually located under the dash on the drivers side. Look for a tall square silver looking box that is plugged into the fusebox. Before going through all the trouble, if your hazard flashers and turn signals aren't working spray some WD-40 on the hard switch and in between the steering column it may turn them back on. It worked for me.

Smoke signals were used to communicate with other people from far away when they were in trouble and needed help. Old Indian tribes would have special signals to communicate to there own tribe that was far away. Because anyone could see the smoke signals, the sender and the receiver of the smoke signals had their own special code.

for hazard fuses check all the bulbs in all the turn signals/running lights. Next check for flashers, they are usually located with the relays on the vehicle, and on fords are typically round cylindrical thing that is about the size of a quarter If you are having trouble finding them turn on your turn signals and listen around your relays for something clicking with the lights. one trick i have learned is that you can swap the flashers around if there are more than one, and if that makes your hazards work but one of your blinkers not work then you know you just need one of them. they are cheap and do go out relatively often. if nothing else works i would check wiring harnesses and the hazard switch. hope my long winded answer can help.
