Maggots eat rotted, dead flesh, so if your cat's sore has maggots in it, chances are it's infected or even gangrenous.

Take the cat to the vet! If you cannot afford to take it to the vet, take it to the Humane Society and surrender it to them so they can give it the treatment it needs.
