What is the difference between thinking and dreaming?
you think that when you dream it is real, when you think you are conscious of what you are thinking about e.g. you know you think during an exam. When you dream you are unconscious, asleep, so you aren't aware so more often than not you think everything is real even though it is not. Dreaming is when you are unaware and thinking is when you are.
What does It mean when you think about someone everyday for 4 years?
It could mean a lot of things. It could mean love, but it could also mean addiction, infatuation, obsession, or various sorts of mental disturbance. It depends on several things. One of them is who you are thinking about, and another is how you are thinking about them. If you, for instance, are thinking about "the man who killed your father" every day for four years, you could be Inigo Montoya, trying to find the six-fingered man and take his revenge... but in the real world, it isn't usually as noble, and dreams of revenge can poison your life and ruin it. If you are thinking about someone that died or even that you broke up with, it could be healthy or sick, depending on if you are thinking of them fondly and moving on with life, or pining and making yourself sick about the past. If you are thinking about someone who doesn't even like you, or that you shouldn't be talking to, then you could be a potential stalker, murderer, or child molester. The thinking part doesn't mean anything by itself. It has to go along with who you are, how healthy you are, who the other person is, and a lot of other things in the middle. :) If you love someone, talk to them. If they love you too, great. If not, work on moving on. If you need help, talk to a counselor.
What is conscious thought?
Conscious thought, when put in a simple way is Being aware of the Thought process or thinking of what we are thinking. People generally identify themselves with their thought but in reality it is not so. There is an infinite and eternal space from where the thoughts arise. This space also houses the Real YOU, who is one with the universe. The incessant thought process has masked the real YOU. When you are experience Conscious thought then the Real YOU observes the thought but does not Judge or condemn the thought. That is the conscious thought. YOU ARE AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE THINKING
