It would always be a matter of opinion and debate, but the person that many would think of as being Ireland's leading Hurler would be Kilkenny's Henry Shefflin. There are many great Corkonians who would have been or are great Hurlers, such as the late Christy Ring or Seán Óg O'Hailpín, who actually might have been who you were thinking of.
