The Executive Branch. The President of the United States is the leader of the executive branch of government. All of the law enforcement agencies in the United States are also part of the executive branch. The Legislative branch creates the law. The Judicial branch interprets the law. The Executive branch enforces the law.
The Executive Branch enforces the law. This seems to be a source of confusion for a lot of people. The three branches of government have complementary functions: The Executive Branch (President) enforces or carries out the laws The Legislative Branch (Congress: The Senate and House of Representatives) makes the laws The Judicial Branch (Federal Courts) interprets and applies the laws and makes sure they're constitutional.
