There is no exact temperature. especially since many tornadoes form in storm generate by cold fronts where the temperature changes fairly quickly. However they generally require warm temperatures and rarely form in temperatures of less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ferrets are usually kept indoors in a temperature controlled environment, and can only be housed outdoors in an an area where it NEVER gets above 80˚f / 26˚c, and then only if they remain out of direct sunlight. Ferrets cannot handle high temperatures and humidity well at all and are extremely susceptible to heatstroke. Generally, when temperatures exceed 80˚f (26˚c), a ferret will begin to suffer the effects of overheating and possible heatstroke.

And for much of our country the temperatures rarely go out of that range. 100°F is also considered a cutoff for being febrile...I suppose it is all what one gets used to using. And, one could learn to change over relatively quickly (except that all the thermometers I have already read in Fahrenheit).
