they respond to stimuli in many different forms like when a cub gets cold the mother puts the cub on her stomach and wraps her hind legs around the cub. Also the black bear goes into torpor when it is in the winter and it is semi aware of its surroundings and is a little groggy, the difference t in hibernation the bear would sleep all winter. It responds to stimuli like any other animal would. Sleeps when it is tired, eats when it is hungry, drinks when it is thirsty. To conclude these are a few examples of how a black bear responds to stimuli.
one way a polar bear respones to a stimulus
polar bears do not change our enviorment but we can if we reduse reuse and recycle.
Most bears respond to the cold by hibernating through the winter months. Polar bears are an exception because they just keep hunting no matter how cold it gets.
THey live in the polar ice because their fur and they are used to that temperature
hot temperature's like 31 degrees is dangerous for a polar bear.polar bears were meant for cold weather.

Starvation.
Polar bears are perfectly adapted to the cold temperature of the arctic and they have no fear of it (and do not really even notice it).
The fur of the polar bear is very thick which helps the polar bear keep warm.
Homeostasis is the ability of animals to maintain a consistent body temperature. Polar bears live in subfreezing temperatures, yet maintain warm bodies. This is because polar bears are endothermic, which means they have a form of insulation. Polar bears have fur and fat which protect their skin and internal organs.Ê

because a Polar Bears fur is not actually white it is the suns reflection on the bear that makes it look like that
