Ranking just can't be given on the basis of last ranks in cee 2009 bcoz it is influenced by many other factors other than academics or art.Many old engg colleges though they hav

they have limited intellectual faculty and academic environment now are opted by students just bcoz they have been started 50 or 70 yrs back..

A survey of engg colleges was done by NIT alumni considering many factors such as faculty,learning atmosphere,university rank etc and the results are as follows.

The jury consisted of eminent academicians, chaired by Dr. A. Sridharan, former Chairman of AICTE for the South Western Region and Deputy Director (retired) Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
