Dallas is at least 250 miles inland. By the time a hurrricane reaches Dallas it usually becomes a tropical storm (lots of wind & rain). Its not impossible (though quite improbable) that a hurricane could sustain enough strength to be classified as such when it reaches Dallas, such a storm would be extremely rare.

It is impossible to predict what particular locations will be hit by a tornado on a given day unless the tornado just about to strike. The average lead time for a waring is about 15 minutes. The daily severe weather outlooks assess general risk across a region, not for specific locations. That said, even when an area is under a high-risk outlook, most locations will not be hit. For today, April 28, 2015 there is no severe storm activity expected for the Dallas region.
