because there are two diffrent flashers 1 for the flashers and 1 for turn
Replace the Flasher Relay.
If the turn signals and emergency signals don't workout sounds like an electrical problem's would suggest that you take it into the closest shop to get the problem diagnosed properly.
I would start with changing the flasher in your fusebox. It's the round looking object in one cornor of the panel. I have all ready changed the flashers and the fuses what can I do now
Check fuse Check bulbs--they are double filamented with the smaller for turn signals Replace turn signal flasher--Most common problem
If the 4 Ways/Hazards are disconnected then neither will work the park lights nor the turn signals.
It could be the turn signal bulbs, some vehicles use separate bulbs for the hazard and turn signals. It could also be a bad switch or wires for the turn signals.
I am having the same trouble. My brake lights work with the light switch for nighttime driving, but only far right brake light works when i pres brake pedal. Reverse lights dont work at all. Turn signals and hazard light work.
The 1990 VW Jetta turn signals will not work when the ground wire is broken or corroded. The turn signals may need the lightbulb's replaced.
Either check the fuses or change the bulb.
In pa you dont need turn signals
Well if your turn signals still work its not a short. I just fixed a pinched wire on my 96 and now my turn signals dont work. But according to a buddy of mine on Clubintegra.com there is a chance the fuse for the hazards is blown.
if the headlights work it is bad wiring if they dont its a fuse
have you tried replacing the flasher u need to replace the flasher can for the turn signals there are 2 one for hazards and one for turn signals usually found in the fuse box, and cost about 3 bucks
it is either bad signal flasher or bad signal switch assembly try another flasher, swap the hazards one in place of the signals one if the hazards work right now if the hazrds dont work either then it is most likely worn switch assembly(common problem in these cars) i am working on a corsica right now that has no brake lights except the third one and it is the switch assembly worn out in it, flashers are good in it
Did you replace the flashers? if not, that's the problem. They are located on the right of the fuse box, two round metal things. About the size of a large botle cap. Runs about 6 bucks for both.
Replace the switch. I had the same problem. You can purchase the switch at any auto parts store it easily clicks in and out.
Turn Signals DONT work , but 4-ways DOIf I understand your question, your 4-way flashers work ["...you have 4-way..."] and "...fuses...OK?" However, the turn signals do not operate at all.Based on what does work, just about all the system except the turn signal selector SWITCH itself. There's your answer, the selector switch, or possibly the connector or wire FROM the switch. It could be the flasher for the turn signals. 1996 Caravan uses a separate one for 4-ways. I had this same problem. Wiggled the relay, took it out of socket and tapped it, then plugged in and out several times to make sure terminals were contacting correctly. Works now. At the same time the light for the cruise control came back on, it did not work before I messed with relay. I do not know what the connection between those two conditions would be, unless the power to the cruise control button comes from the turn signal circuit up through the multi-function switch. May have been unrelated. Mike
There is no way you can turon signal/blinker in gta 4 as the other cars have. Only the getaway car had signals other cars dont have signals. You can turn the headlights on or off during the day and choose b/w high and dim in the night.
Have you checked the bulbs for the licence plate lights ? Maybe they are both bad .
I had the same problem with my 87 Riv. It was a burnt out bulb in the rear of the car. My front signals did work and as they run on different circuits, check and replace the bulbs. Access to the back lights are inside the trunk back.
Sounds like there is a bulb installed incorrectly somewhere. parking light or taillight.
no it dont
Check the fuse, and the Turn Signal Flasher Relay. The hazzard lights have a separate relay.
Could be a blown fuse, or a bad blinker module. First check your fuse panal, and make sure all your fuses are present, and good. Next check to see if you have 4 way (emergency) flashers. If these work on all four corners. Turn off the 4 way flashers, and try your turn signal again. If they still dont work, you might have a bad flasher, or a bad multifunction switch. If the lights dont work when checking with the 4 way flashers, then check your bulbs on all 4 corners. The rear bulbs are usually easiest, and the most important.
