During the water-cycle, the vapor forms a cloud/clouds, then the cloud/clouds collect water (from lake, rivers, oceans, ect....) then (though only if it's really cold), the water freezes and when the cloud is finally too loaded, it rains though instead of rain you get SNOW.
Different interpretations of your question:
1: Why does snow fall?
Snow is just frozen water, a bit like hail. The water in the clouds freezes, and then it falls just like rain.
2: Why do we call it snow fall?
The snow falls.
1) you've got to have a high concentration of moisture high up in the air 2) you've got to have layers of air that are below freezing.
Snow can fall at conditions under 0 degrees C.
Obviously Temperatures below 32 Degrees F (0 degrees Celsius) And the water vapor in the clouds must condense enough to turn from a liquid to a solid

no snow will fall this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think it can
School system administrators make decisions to close schools on a case by case basis. Their decision is not based on how much snow has fallen, but on driving conditions, expected driving conditions, and the safety of the students.
The tundra isn't defined by any amount of snowfall. It does, however, have very long winters and therefore snow can fall during most months. But in general, if it is very continental (dry) then less than 10 inches of snow might fall, while it may exceed 100 inches under the right conditions in a few places.
A glacier forms under certain terrain conditions and where more snow falls in the winter than melts in the summer.
Yes they are, under heavy snow conditions
No. For it to snow you need clouds. Clouds have water. Snow doesn't appear out of nowhere and fall on the ground because it's cold. The conditions have to be right.
why snow fall occurs
no snow will fall this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A snow fall is like a rain shower
dry snow goes "whoof" when you step on it. The snow has to sit awhile in cold conditions and collapse slightly under its own weight before it will squeak.
2 feet...Under perfect weather conditions.
Cirrus clouds are high enough to be at a low enough temperature for the water droplets to form into ice crystals. However, Cirrus clouds are not precipitation clouds, so no snow or rain can fall from them. The clouds that can cause snow to fall in the right conditions are Nimbostratus and Cumulonimbus clouds.
it makes snow fall over for about 5 seconds
A yard blower can be used for a snow blowers under certain conditions. If the yard blower is powerful enough and if the snow is not too deep or dense.
Precipitation of snow on the ground.
I don't think it can
