Value of a 1882 P Mint Barbara quarter?

Uh, the person on the front is Miss Liberty, not someone named "Barbara" (unless of course Miss Liberty has that first name but never told anyone about it, ROTFL!)
You're thinking of the term BARBER quarter, which refers to the coin's designer Charles Barber. However, Barber quarters weren't minted until 1892 so a coin from 1882 would be a Liberty Seated quarter featuring a full portrait of Miss Liberty, as opposed to the Barber design which only has an image of her head.
If that's what you have, it's still a nice find. As of 05/2009 Numismedia lists retail prices ranging from $180 in very worn condition to about $500 if uncirculated.
