There were three gulf wars in the 20th and 21st centuries:
1. Iran-Iraq War 1980-1988
2. Operation Desert Storm Jan/Feb '91
3. Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-
Assuming that you are talking about #2, the Persian Gulf War of 1990-1991, the US led the UN coalition in order to liberate Kuwait from Iraqi occupation.
To prevent the occupation of Kuwait by Iraq and its leader, Saddam Hussein. The US also asked other countries to join in a coalition.
The US asked Coalition Forces to join us during Operation Desert Shield in 1990, and Desert Storm in 1991.
They did not like them.
Some nations accept men of foreign citizenship into their military. The US does; the French still have a Foreign Legion. It would depend on the rules and laws of the different country you propose to join.
Canada joined the United States in the Afghanistan War because they saw Al-Qaeda as directly responsible for the events of September 11th and felt that it was their duty to help America defend itself. However, due to strong Canadian Anti-Iraq War sentiment, Canada refused to actively join the Iraq Coalition unless it was sanctioned by the United Nations. As it was not, they did not join. Note: There are currently no foreign troops in Iraq from the Coalition anyway (including the United States) which is another reason why there are no Canadian troops there.

Coalition is a group of separate individual entities who join together to form a formal confederation, or coalition.
The US asked Coalition Forces to join us during Operation Desert Shield in 1990, and Desert Storm in 1991.
when is the Philippines join the united nations
america did not join the league of nations because
The parties would form a coalition.
they join the commonwealth of nations in 1962
Oman join the United Nations on 7 October 1971.
The league of nations failed because Germany and Russia two of the great powers in the world did not join the league of nations until later on and even then Germany left. America also didn't join the league of nations because the civillians didn't want to join.
The phrasing of the question is what is causing the difficulty in understanding what happened. The coalition was led by the United States with which the United Kingdom and Argentina were individually allied (as opposed to a British or Argentinian coalition). Argentina and the United Kingdom still dispute the Falkland Islands and that dispute was still relevant in the early 1990s, but both parties considered their mission to join the international coalition part of a mandatory show that national sovereignty cannot be violated.
No.
