No, chandragupta maurya belonged to maurya caste which also claimed decent from shakyas , shakyas and maurys claims their desent from eldest son of Lord RAMA The KUSH

Mauryas are ancient Kastriyas and modern rajput community have many shudras converted into them , with the supression of mauryas and shakyas of neoRajputs as they were mostly the followers of Budhdhism their relation ship ended with so called modern Rajputs.

This caste is a poor caste and is qualified as OBC under Indian Constution.

Despite being kastriya no blood relationship are present as they are Buddhist do agriculture.

At presently there are no relation ship between Mauryans and So called Rajputs
