Jesus was Both human and divine
Christians believe that Jesus was fully human - with human needs and emotions (in The Bible we are told that he ate, drank, wept, got angry, bled, and so on). If God had not become fully human then salvation would not be possible according to Christian doctrine.
Also, Christians believe that Jesus was fully divine - and not somehoow subservient to a 'higher' God. Christians believe that Jesus was the third person in a Trinitarian God - the Father, the Holy Spirit - and the Son, Jesus, all as one God, yet three persons. Although each individual in the Trinity has its own function (ie The Father alone knows when the end of the world will come, Jesus alone is the means to Salvation and will be the Judge of all, the Holy Spirit alone is the means for God to reveal himself to us), Christians believe that Jesus is fully God.
Some sects believe that Jesus is not divine in the same way as the majority of Christians (eg Jehovah's Witnesses) but Jesus himself claimed to divine in many references in the gospels, as well as claiming to be fully human.
He claimed it of Himself, and proved it by His works on earth, and proves it by the way He works in people's lives today. Taste and see, repent and trust in Him and you'll understand the why and the how in a much clearer way.
Yes - He's the son of God, and at the same time, on earth he had a body, scars, felt physical pain, and had a mother. God sent him to earth to help corruptness, share God's wisdom, heal, and save people eternally.
Man can not answer that divine mystery.
It gets even more hard to think about when you consider that Jesus also died on the cross.
Of cause the proof of the divinity is that he resurrected and walked round taking to and being touched by people that knew him after the resurrection. That is what makes Jesus different from all other people who have said that they were God. He was born in public lived in public, taught in public, was killed in public and was seen in public resurrected.
in a catholic belief, jesus is a human person and God
Jesus was hundred percent god and hundred percent man.
What i believe:
-Jesus WAS human when he was on earth, but now i think he's just divine. I could be wrong though.
He was born of a virgin and his father was God, that makes him both human and God.
No Jesus is God in human form. Magic is human tricks.
Jesus was not God in human form. Jesus proclaimed himself as SON of God and God is described as Jesus' heavenly father. It is not in my understanding that they ever called Jesus himself God.
He was born of a virgin and his father was God, that makes him both human and God.
Jesus the Mortal God God alone is immortal
Jesus is the only Son of God. God transformed into a human just for us and came down to earth to save us from eternal death. God is Jesus, Jesus is God.
Jesus is human as God on earth.
Jesus was described as "god on earth". so therefore it is not known whether he was human or not.
God Himself did not have any parents. Since He has always existed (and is a spirit rather than a human anyways), He does not have parents. Now, as for Jesus (being God as a human), His earthly mother, as many know, was Mary.
jesus christ
Everyone who reads it is spoken to by Jesus and God; as the Bible is The Word of God
Jesus did not have to think that, as he was god the part of Holy Trinity.
