According to ancient Britain history, the Celts, ( King Arthur's people) Arthur was very much a real king ! Although there is alot of folklore about him there is some truth in the stories ! I do not believe all the magic from Merlin, Morgan Le Fay, ect. is believable.... everything else concerning King Arthur, YES. In, fact, "they" just came out with a new movie about Arthur (starring Keira Knightley as Guinevere) that claims to tell the TRUE STORY !!!! Many people believe that King Arthur legends were fake, But the historical person is real. It is debatable!!

Camelot is the court of King Arthur..... It's mythical . Yes it was. King Arthur was real and camelot was real, but all of the supposed magical adventures of Arthur and the kingdom of camelot weren't.

Scientists are doing tests and they have confirmed that King Arthur may have existed even though there is no such thing as Camelot. It is still debated whether or not he was real. It is for certain that most, (If not all) of English literature that describes him is false. But there may have been a real King Arthur. And we know that his supposed sucessor, Constantine the Third, was real. Meaning we know that Constantine was a king of Britain, but whether or not he followed Arthur is unknown. not ever person thinks so ,but he might be.people say he is coming to life and is trying to stop moredred.

King Arthur is a legendary figure who is said to have lived in the fifth and sixth centuries. Whatever real person was the basis for the legends probably lived in the mid fifth century. Henry VIII on the other hand was a real king who lived from 1491 to 1547, becoming king in 1509, so obviously they were not brothers. Henry did have an older brother whose name was Arthur but he died when he was a teenager and never became king.

No. The closest you can get to Camelot and King Arthur being real would be that King Arthur was actually a Roman who grew up in Britain and so later became King of "Camelot" Which probably didn't exist. :)

Historians have not been able to prove that King Arthur was a real person. Though there have been many tales about the famous king, his name wasn't mentioned in writing for several hundred years after he was said to have lived.
