No, at least not in the UK.
The hatred was mainly about music, but was also political. For punks, Led Zep epitomised overblown, self-indulgent, corporate rock music. Punk was about reclaiming Rock Music for ordinary kids - the idea that anyone could pick up a guitar and form a band, that you didn't need to be able to play a 10 minute guitar solo.
Punks hated a whole raft of bands in the heavy rock and progressive genres: ELP, Floyd, Yes, Genesis... But they favoured others - the Pistols openly admitted to liking Hawkwind and Can.
Punk seemed to be about destroying the past and starting again but of course as musicians they had their past influences.
Zep got singled out by some as the archetypal 'cock rockers' but it was nothing to do with Tolkein. In fact Zep's roots weren't so far removed from Punk's - both Robert Plant and Steve Jones of the Pistols loved 50's rock'n'roll. Compare Zep's version of 'C'mon Everybody' with Sid Vicous's - poles apart? Maybe not.
