Was Morocco involved in World War I?

"No. Morocco was not in world war 1, they stayed neutral. " that is inccorrect, Morocco was a french colony till the end of WWII, Moroccan troops did fight along side the French in the French Colonial Forces. The country may have remained neural but the French government was the "protectorate" of Morocco meaning they basically have control of their polital and military powers. The Moroccan division was part of the French Colonial Forces making them involved in WWI.
