No, there isn't any evidence that he was gay. Perhaps you have seen old paintings in which he looks very feminine, but this was the style of art back in those days. Actually, few people ever talked about their sexual identity in public back then; but what we do know about Valentine comes from church history, and all it says is that he was a strong advocate for what is now called "traditional marriage" (one man marrying one women), and he was very much opposed to polygamy.
